Same song, second verse? Snow and ice predicted for Coweta County GA.

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Richard Weisser Realty

Same song, second verse? Snow and ice predicted for Coweta County GA by Richard WeisserThe second Winter storm of the season is bearing down on Coweta County Georgia.

Not only is more snow expected in some areas than during the January event, but an accumulation of ice is expected to knock down power lines and trees throughput the Atlanta Metro area.

Hopefully, the recent debacle is still fresh in the minds of commuters who will elect to stay off the roads and refrain from non-essential travel.

State and local officials claim to be ready for the worst this time around. My guess is that they will be a lot more proactive than in the past, and more will be done to get ready for the worst.

How bad will it be? Only time will tell.

Richard, the weather this winter certainly has been unprecedented, at least in my 24 years in Florida. Stay warm, and plan wisely, in light of the issue that occured in January.

Good morning Richard. I heard the snow and ice are coming your way again. I will hope that your officials treated this one more seriously and that regular folks heed the warnings.

Richard - It will be interesting to see the difference between these two snow events. My wife is already on station in the storm center at Georgia Power. And me? I am getting ready to hunker down!

Richard, no doubt they learned their lesson. No one could be that negligent two times in the same season, could they??

Hi Richard,

I've been watching the weather and thought of you when I saw it headed towards Atlanta.  Stay warm.

I have been working toward being prepared for a power outage all evening.  I figure if I get all prepared it won't happen.  (a girl can try right)
