Tips for Time Management

At the end of each day make a list of whatyou have accomplished and make a 'to do' list for the next day.

Block out periods of time where you can work and not be interrupted.

Take a break each hour or so to talk, breathe, relax, eat.

Keep up to date with paperwork. Don't let it accumlate or it can be too much.

Stay in touch frequently on your email, text, messages, facebook.

Have someone answer and screen calls.

Saving only 20 minutes a day is saving over 566 hours a year. That is 14 days a year- almost 3 weeks that could be time spent on vacation or earning more money.

I think one of the most crucial things is to set up a schedule. Without setting up a schedule it will be difficult to get everything done we need to. It also helps to focus our efforts and work more efficiently. I think some people spend a fair amount of time trying to come up with topics to post about. But, I would like to share my experience with time management application. I'm using Replicon product for time recording ( http://www.replicon.com/olp/online-time-recording-software.aspx ) and to set-up a schedule. It tracks the time spent on different tasks accurately and I’ve never regretted for choosing this application for managing my time.

Time management plan is to be done on a regular basis mostly at the start of every week or every month. There are many time scheduling tools available, including google calendar, basecamp etc.

Out of those tools, I would like to use Replicon's time tracking software to prepare a time management plan. Helps to allot and identify the time for high priority tasks. I'm so thankful for this app.
