This post is full of wonderful information for those of us that like to take pictures with our Iphone.
Had it not been for Cathy including it in her "What I Learned This Week" posts I would have missed it.
Hope you find it as valuable as I did and be sure to thank Jeff for being kind enough to share it with all of us and Kathy Streib for her weekly posts which lead me to it...
I attended the CRS (Council of Residential Specialists) Sellabration Convention in Coronado (San Diego) from January 30 through February 2, 2014 at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort.
It was pretty intense, with some top notch learning and networking with outstanding agents from around the country.
One of the sessions on Friday was about iPhoneography, with Dale Chumbley, CRS and Heather Ozur, CRS and was of particular interest given my enjoyment of taking photos and being a relatively new iPhone user.
I learned a number of things that will be of particular use in my business with my iPhone, but the following stood out (those of you who are already iPhone experts can simply move on to another post).
The Rule of Thirds (a basic principle of photography)
To make it easy to take photos using this principle, go to SETTINGS, then PHOTOS AND CAMERA, scroll down to GRID under CAMERA, and enable the gridlines for better positing of photos. You can read more about the rule of thirds here
Camera Plus (app)
Add effects and text to your photos, the use your photos on Instagram and other social media sites
Olloclip (camera attachment)
How about a cool attachment with 4 different lenses - 2 zoom, wide angle, and fisheye
Pro HRD (app)
Create impressive HDR photos with this app
Did you know you can use the volume control buttons as a shutter? Press either one – sometimes that’s easier than tapping the round red icon on the screen.
Do you have any great tips for the iPhone?
