I Just Upgraded to a Rainmaker Account and I'm Excited! Ask Why!

I just upgraded to a Rainmaker Account and I'm pretty excited! My wife Tammie has been blogging (and been a Rainmaker) for a number of years and we made a deal. If I could prove to her (and myself) that I would stick with the blogging until I reached 100,000 points, I would upgrade to a Rainmaker. As you can see, I made it!

Now I'll be able to enjoy all the benefits that ActiveRain has to offer:

The public will be able to find and "see" my posts. Up until I became a Rainmaker, my posts were "Members Only" Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed the writing and getting to know many wonderful people. However, my posts were only seen by the ActiveRain community. Although I could write great things about where I live, potential clients wouldn't be able to read what I wrote. Time to get my posts out there where they can be found on Google!

As part of this upgrade, I'll be receiving an outside blog and a domain name of my choosing. This is another opportunity for my writing and my business to be found on Google.

I can go back into my pre-Rainmaker blogs and move them to my outside blog! With a little editing I'll make a number of them suitable for public consumption.

When I discovered AR through my wife Tammie, I never suspected that it would become so important to me. Connecting, Sharing, and Learning are what it's all about. If you currently have a Rainer account and are considering the benefits of upgrading to a Rainmaker, follow my lead and DO IT!

Congratulations!

Been a little bothered by everyone asking me to pay for something. Over the past 10 years I feel as if the cost of doing my business have greatly increased. Being stubborn about paying to be a Rainmaker. I'm sure it's worth it but hard to justify.

Another goal that I just found out about a couple of months ago is when you reach certain point levels, you actually get a price reduction in your membership. Mine went from $39 to $29. COOL!!

You know that was smart.  I often buy stuff I never use.  You made sure you would use it first.

Roughly, how much time and what time of the day do you devote daily to managing and producing your blogging efforts? How many hours per week, month year does that amount to? Congratulations, regardless.

Tom, becoming a Rainmaker was one of the best decisions I've made in real estate.  I'm sure you will realize it as the calls come in and I'm equally sure that this is something your wife already knows.

Tom,

Thanks for sharing your post about becoming a rainmaker.

Your enthusiam is infectious.

I have been a rainmaker for a while and have not been taking advantage of the opportunity that AR offers.

I need to get busy and create time in my day for AR to read, think and share with the group.

I'm a rainmaker as well. It definitely gives you and your business more exposure.

But I agree: connecting- sharing- learning are benefits of being an AR member.

We make it easy. You make it home.

Hi Tom. I'm considering going back to a Rainmaker account and happened upon your post. Can't believe how many points you now have! Good for you.

I think I encountered some issues due to changing markets so I will have to get past that if I go forward.

Have a great day in TN!
