A screech owl staring back at me from a lanai in SWFL. There were a few babies in the box, too. I wonder if this blue jay was up to no good. There was quite a ruckus around the box. Maybe momma owl took another blue jay in the box for the babies.
This owl box is located on the edge of a preserve in Brendan Cove in Bonita Springs, Florida.
