Post update: My wife loves the flowers. No questions about the chocolates.
Hi Ken. Of couse she'll like them because they came from you. I like this and it made me smile. Suggested.
Kenneth, very smart of you to think ahead. I know your "honey" will appreciate it.
I can tell you're an almost perfect husband. Your foresight will likely pay you dividends from the love of your life. Heck, I'll bet you even remember the date of your anniversary too![]()
You are wise man...thinking ahead. Enjoy the entire week...not just Valentine's day.
Kathy and Tammie; Thanks for the comments. Made ME smile.
Sheila; thanks so much, and they did feature it. :)
Connie; She did, and I don't have to go out in the snow tomorrow.
Myrl, you are so kind, thanks you. Yes I do remember the day my wife made me the happiest man on earth. BTW, its 47 years and still going strong.
Margaret, I didn't start out smart, but may wife "schooled" me. Lol.
Very nice Ken, we went out for dinner for Valentine's last night just to avoid the crunch and the snow
Yes, I agree with Myri, you sound as if you are QUITE a wonderful husband.
Kenneth,
you are a wise man! Hoping you (and us) don't get too much snow Thursday.
Gosh, is tomorrow the day-before-Valentine's already? Sheeesh, hope there are some cards left at the store!
Wow -- it is going to be a long snowy day in the northeast! We have delayed the celebration of valentine's day until 2/22! :)
Good man. My wife honestly doesn't like receiving flowers, so she's pretty low-maintenance in that way. :)
No snow here and maybe sunshine. Just heard in the 70's for the weekend. Tired of winter. Roses are always a winner!
Sorry to hear you are getting more snow - but hey, those flowers are beautiful. So thoughtful of you to think of your wife.
Good for you to think ahead and being prepared as I am not but we do not have the weather you have. BTW someone told that a man drove up to a gas station from New York with a snow shovel attached to his motor home and when the attendant ask he what it was he said.. I loaded everything I own in this motor home and was determined to head south till it was warm enough that someone ask me what that snow shovel was and then I would know I was at my new home...LOL
I can't believe that your "honey" would love the flowers and love that your thought of her.
Good move, going to the store a bit early! Now you can enjoy the snowday (we just heard 18+ inches here in Orange County so we're not going anywhere either)
Very cool pictures Kenneth! I'm probably going to wait until the very last minute before I get my bride something. You know... tradition.
Ken congrats on your feature! Snow AGAIN...ugh..! How thoughtful of you to make sure you made it to the florist! Love the pictures!
The other day in Trader Joes, I actually took the time to smell the flowers..Yes to this
Sometimes a fun thing to do, get up very early and take your wife to the wholesale flower markets, the vendors will always sell you something for CASH. The smells and freshness are magnificent.
Kenneth, looks like your all set for Valentines Day with the snow coming in today.
I'm taking my wife to lunch in a bit for Valentines Day. We also have a dinner tomorrow night, but it is with other people.
A dinner and a stroll down memory lane if I can still remember some things we did celebrating Valentine's Day. Well, some things you never forget, don't you?
Kenneth, how lucky your Honey is! Thinking ahead is always good when it comes to snow and Valentine's Day.
Kenneth - I know your sweetheart will love the beautiful gift. Have a Happy Valentine's Day!
I guess these storms can even make some who procrastinate get a move on it...not you, I am sure.
Folks, I'm delighted with all the comments. Thank you so much. Glad I made you smile.
Good Man Kenneth, I'm sure your wife will love the flowers and the thought. Happy Valentine's Day!
Kenneth, it's the time to be with 'honey' - I am enjoying my little vacation with my 'honey'!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Kenneth, I have some friends in NY right now posting snow pics! Glad you got the flowers so you don't have to get back out, I thought only texans did that ! The flowers were so pretty! Hope it was happy!
Kenneth- good for you!!! Now... did you remember the chocolates? (Just kidding)
