As the world knows the Georgia is experiencing a Winter disaster. The Governor and the President declared a state of emergency for Georgia. The majority of us who do not need to be on the roads have heeded the advice and directions of our leaders to stay home. That includes yours truly.
After taking in the mass hysteria at the grocery stores on Monday and hearing of homeless folks stranded in this mess, I am so thankful for a place to call home. And I'm also thankful for our first responders who are out there helping to keep people safe and the roads clear. Georgia Power is working diligently to restore power, but it is a battle with ice laden trees and iced roads.
So I'm hunkering down in my car in the garage for a moment to chargw the phone abd writw this post. Not sure if I can get pictures posted now, so I'm going with the post only. I will come back and add pictures later.
