Beaufort County SC Real Estate Sales Report for January 2014

 

While closed sales dropped 6.9% in January in Northern Beaufort County compared to January of 2013 the market factor continue to remain stable and should through 2014. The coming year should bring more construction, fewer foreclosure and increased sales activity.  

New listings also decreased from last January of last year, down 9%, 212 to 193. Inventories of homes continues to drop, down 16.7% for January of last year, from 1733 to 1443. A reason to indicate home values to increase. Median sales price did increase 8% up to $179,500.

All indications lend good growth and a stable market for the coming year.
