Well the Fox Tale Book Shoppe in Woodstock will able help you do just that. On February 15th from 14 PM they will have a writers workshop. Featuring Raymond Atkins author of The Front Porch Prophet, Sorrow Wood and Camp Redemption.
The workshop will will focus on
- picturing characters to make them come alive
- creating realistic and believable conversations
- turning the story over to the characters
- would they do that?
- naming your characters
- show me, don't tell me
- treating characters with respect
- and developing characters not caricatures
