Do You Text, Email and Snail Mail Out Greeting Cards to Friends & Clients?

I have to admit I do not always get my cards in the mail on 'every' holiday even though I try very hard. I will buy them, print labels and even buy the stamps but sometimes I just get some or none at all sent. I suspect I am not alone here.

I did get Valentine Day cards out last Tuesday but the weather was so bad many people in other states have still not received them but they will next week hopefully.

I try to remember 'Birthdays' and other memorable events and even have reminders that come in my email to help me remember.

In the past 6 months I have started texting to my friends and clients. I find a cute logo such as a cake with candles, a wreath saying Happy Holidays, Hearts...etc. and I email it to myself. Then I open my email on my phone and download the image. This way I can text to everyone in my phone. I get a lot of thank you's back and this way I keep in their thoughts.

I recently had a past client send me a text thanking me and saying a family member had just passed away and the card meant so much to her. Though I was sad and felt awful, I was glad I had mailed and texted both to her. It is nice to stay in touch and then they know we care about them too. I might not have known otherwise and now I'm going to go out and buy a sympathy card tomorrow. 

I just thought I would pass on my texting ideas in case you haven't thought of doing this yourself. I am sure your clients and friends will appreciate the thought.
