You Can't Fake This

By

I have seen it. It starts as a little light in the eyes that grows brighter. You know it is usually in full bloom when it breaks out into a huge smile. REALTORS and Stagers have seen this effect when buyers finally emotionally connect with a house they want to buy and want to get to an offer stage.

There is something magical about this step.

With your work it is there too. It is an extension of passion. It is MORE than passion. You know you've encountered someone in their work or play life when they just have come up to this next higher level. And you know what? Enthusiasm

YOU CAN'T FAKE THIS ONE !!!

No ladies, I'm not talking about a trick that is sometimes played in the bedroom on your man. : )

What am I talking about??  ENTHUSIASM.

Enthusiasm is so cool. I view it as love with added heaps of energy scooped on top. We all should find things in life that we are highly enthusiastic about.

Finding that GREAT home. Loving your job. Extreme passion for a sport or hobby you pursue when you are not working. It is emotional richness at its finest. Use Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter as a visual if you need a boost in embodying this into your life.

Find what you are enthusiastic about and pursue it. Catch moments in life where others are enthusiastic and point it out to them that maybe this is their divine gift. Enthusiasm may be love on steroids. But when you find enthusiasm I'm thinking you've found the REAL YOU.

I wish people could be more enthusiastic but they some times are afraid to express their emotion for fear of having to pay more if you know they love it.

Terry: That is a very good point in the buying process. With negotiation you have to keep your cards close to your vest. You may be "bursting" with enthusiasm but you don't want in negotiation for the seller to think you'll just pay anything for the house to get it. That's why on the other end, "motivated seller" is not going to get you the highest price, just possibly a quicker sale.

Funny I came across this very positive post.  The word enthusiam could be used like unbelievable.  My last post had "hell no" then I said excuse my enthusiasm.

How is your day going?  Unbelievable.  lol

Have a Fabulous Real Estate Day Gary!

I think enthusiasm can be faked, but it's easily detected. Pure enthusiasm charges the air around you. I think that's why the saying goes that it's contagious, because it can be felt by everyone nearby. There's nothing more refreshing.

Lindsey: The emotionally packed words people say I think reveals their enthusiasm in buying or selling.

Sandy: Emotionally charged air. That is a great way to detect it. It definitely is contagious. Think of Richard Simmons who I spoke of in an earlier post. The guy is bouncing off the walls.

Gary - Those furtive glances between buyers are the first clue this may be "the one" they've been waiting for.  Those are the moments that make our matchmaking efforts worthwhile.

You are so right... I found my passion and I love it.  My last career as a tax accountant was not as much fun.  Can you imagine?  How many deductions can I find for you just doesn't do it for me.  By the way I loved your humor....

Gary, I loved Steve Irwin and was so sad when he passed but he did live his life with enthusiasm.  It makes me sad that his little ones will not get to spend their formative years with him.  I know this is a positive post and here I am getting all weepy but he did live his life to the fullest.  I loved everything that he was in!!  His American wife is pretty cool also.

Those bunny clips were so cute, especially the comment one with the little tail wobbling.  Is that the guy that the alligator finally killed?  Hope not.

Joan: See, enthusiasm IS contagious!

Cynthia: You are very intuitive on picking up on that moment.

Judy: Tax accountant to Realtor. Quite a transformation from just numbers to a very people oriented field. Glad you found your passion.

Marchel: Steve Irwin's whole story is very interesting and daughter Bindy is following in his footsteps.

Barbara: Steve died in Sept. 2006 from an injury from a barb from a sting ray while diving off of Australia that pierced his heart and he pulled the barb out. It was tragic, but none of the crocodiles ever hurt him. He embodied enthusiasm in his work.
