MELISSA HAILEY ATTENDS TEXAS REALTORS® WINTER MEETING 2014 IN AUSTIN
February 12, 2014 — Melissa Hailey of Coldwell Banker Jane Henry Realtors in Wylie was among more than 1,000 Texas REALTORS®attending the Texas Association of REALTORS®Winter Meeting, Feb. 6 -11 at the Hyatt Regency Austin.
Speakers during the five-day event included: Motivational speaker Terry Watson; Texas Railroad Commissioner and Texas attorney general candidate Barry Smitherman; Texas attorney general candidate Rep. Dan Branch; and Texas attorney general candidate Sen. Ken Paxton.
During Winter Meeting, attendees explored the latest technologies and marketing tools for Texas REALTORS® – including the association’s new member and consumer website, TexasRealEstate.com – as well as trends in commercial real estate, professional standards, technology, property management, risk reduction, member benefits and more.
In addition, the Texas Association of REALTORS®announced its top annual award recipients: Texas REALTOR®of the Year Randy Jeffers of Amarillo; Educator of the Year Chad Cardani-Trollinger of Austin; Tom D. Morton Association Executive of the Year Shelia Hargraves-Torres of Lufkin; Texas REALTOR®Hero Jason Crouch of Austin; Omega Tau Rho designates from around the state; and Education Programs of the Year from local REALTOR®associations in Houston, San Antonio and MetroTex (Dallas-Fort Worth).
