Every now and then, I remind a Madeline Island buyer who lives in the Twin Cities area that we have an office in the greater Minneapolis & Saint Paul metropolitan area. Our business card displays each office on opposite sides of the card, with Madeline Island Realty (WI) on one side (white type reversed out of a navy blue background) and Wayzata Lakes Realty (MN) on the other (blue type on a white background).
We're a real estate brokerage (actually two brokerages, in adjacent states). A surprising number of our Wisconsin vacation home buyers come from the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin. Serving buyers and sellers in both states benefits our clients. We're not merely familiar with the place where they choose to vacation, but instead we also know the communities where they live and work. We're familiar with their primary market because we actually sell there.
