Is it time to update your voice mail messages?

I wish I had a great phone voice to greet everyone when they call-but alas, I tend to keep it short and simple so that callers don't get bored and want to hang up.  How about you Roy? I'm going over to Debbie's post to see what she has to say, so thank you for letting me know!

Thank you Roy. I have had my whole husband's office update theirs. Some didn't even have a message.

Roy, yesterday I called a fellow Realtor in Denver, had a LONG message about when she calls people back, Doesn't answer the phone after 6 pm, doesn't work on weekends, but at the end of her message -

But don't forget, I am NEVER too busy for your referrals.  

I laughed out loud!

I believe my vmail is still chipper and happy, just like me mostly but I will call and confirm right now :-)

Roy, I missed Debbie's post and glad you mentioned it.  Great post and really needed this push to change my voicemail - it's ok, but could be much better.  Thanks.

Very good point Roy.  This is something I haven't paid much attention to lately.  It may be time to update my outgoing message with something a little more jazzy. 

I did read Debbie's blog post and it's very true. Freshening up sounds like a great idea~

Good Morning Roy: Our tone changes with our mood or condition as well. I like my voice when I am sick. The husky tone makes it more appealing to the auditory sense.
