Who's Key Is it?

I know the market is heating up and you are trying to give your Buyer the edge, but taking the key to prevent other agents and their buyers from veiwing a property is not only unethical, but illegal.

It is theft.  The key does not belong to you.

If your Buyer is aware of your doing this, you have now made them an accessory to your crime.

This is a terrible practice and something agents could lose their license for doing.

I agree and that I why I felt compelled to say something about it.  I hated to have to make this a "public" announcement, but Buyers also need to be aware that this is not the way things are supposed to be done.
