Like Dorothy Said "There is No Place Like HOME"

Tonight while watching the Emmy Awards, there was a tribute to Judy Garland who played the lead in the movie "The Wizard of OZ created in 1939. For anyone who doesn't know, Dorothy Gale was biking home while a tornado was coming near and she finds herself and her dog Toto on a lonely road and far away in another realm. After meeting the Tin Man, The Friendly Scarecrow, The Cowardly Lion (my favorite), The Wicked Witch of the West, The Good Witch of the East, The Munchkins and finally the Wizard of OZ who she asks to help her get home.

Anyway this fantastic movie is a classic and we used to watch it once a year after it finally came on TV. But through all the trials and tribulations Dorothy went through, she realizes that she wants to get home to her loved ones. The wizard tells her she can go home if she clicks her glittery red shoes and repeats "There is no place like home" three times. After she does this, she is sent back through time at home in her bed as she had bumped her head while bicycling home. Sorry, I hope I didn't ruin the ending for anyone who hasn't seen this movie yet? *I even liked the flying monkeys though they were scary.

But it is so true "There is No Place Like Home". Purchasing a home is the American Dream and we are here as Real Estate agents, Lenders, Ecrow Officers, Title Reps, Home Stagers, Home Inspectors, Contractors, Appraisers, and all the other professionals that go into the sale of a home for our buyers and sellers. 

So for everyone out there, don't forget "There's No Place Like Home". When possible, find yourself a new home to buy. So click your heels together and find yourself a home.
