On February 27, 2014, CoreLogic reported nationwide completed foreclosures in January 2014 increased 11.8% from December 2013, but dropped 19% from January 2013. There were approximately 794,000 homes in foreclosure in January 2014, lower 33% from 1.2 million in January 2013. Only 2% of homes were in foreclosures in January 2014, lower 3.3% from December 2013, and 2.9% in January 2013.
