Cindy's Random ThoughtsBloggers Block = Some Random Thoughts....

Lately I've been having bloggers block and feel bad that I haven't blogged in a while. What to do? My go to when this happens is usually an ActiveRain contest or some pictures. Of course there are always the market reports, but today I figure I'll write down some random thoughts.....

~ I'm going to venture into reading again. I was once a very avid reader until a severe case of sleep apnea had me reading the first paragraph over and over again until I fell asleep.I haven't finished a book in a long whreadingile and miss it. If all goes well, I might even join the masses and get a Kindle. I'm going to finally finish reading the book about procrastination called Eat That Frog (byBrian Tracy)...but maybe I'll do that later.

~ Ok..so is it me*, or did I suddenly start stinking so much that I now need to use the new super strength deoderants out there. Not only did my deoderants that I've been using for years stop working but these new ones are very expensive at eight to nine bucks a pop. Me thinks that these companies might be messing with us.

*Note, this is a rhetorical question so please say no even if its so...

~ One of the best feelings is when you're in a multiple offer situation and YOUR clients offer is accepted.

Gleneden Beach Sunset~ I can't wait until we spring forward! I LOVE the daylight!! With this thought, growing up on the east coast, I never realized that the west coast stayed light until 9:30pm in the summers. The only downside to this is on fourth of July when you have to wait until very late to see the fireworks.

~ Another great thing is when your client sends you a few homes they want to see and the one you "throw in" because you know it has really good potential is the one they want to offer on. Sweet!

~ I wish sellers in the Portland area would decide to put their home on the market (call me). There are buyers out there just waiting to pounce!

~ I've never given anything up for lent, but thinking this year I might give up my beloved bread..how long is lent??

Cindy, I am acutely aware of those times when the well just seems to run dry.  You lose your mojo for whatever reason and it feels like a monumental task to get it back. Find something you love to do, some passion of yours and let that lead the way.

Hi Geri, It sure does doesn't it. Your advice is good. Getting my creative juices going always seems to help. I bet you're looking forward to spring!

I,m worried, I thought you just returned from a walk about to "find" your self and it didn't work. Maybe I had bad info on that. LOL

Hi Rob, Nah..just walking some trails in a very pretty place. Hmm...maybe I'll take up playing the didgeridoo for a creative outlet!

Hi Jill, Thanks! All is good and we are still working on settling into our new home. Business is good and steady, so I won't complain. Hope all is well on your end!

Love your random thoughts, Cindy. Eat That Frog is a sweet and short little book, full of pithy wisdom.

I would say those are pretty random thoughts. What brand of deodorant is that?

Cindy, I'll be rooting for your lent goal and that you get back into reading. I can't do the whole Kindle thing though, I love real books....

Hi Lottie, I've got that one and another written by the same author. They are actually easy reading!

Hi Tammie, sorry I never go back to comment! I used to use the regular popular brands like Dove and about the same time as these new Clinical strength ones came out at more than double the price I noticed that the regular ones just didn't work the same. Coincidence??
