Fannie Mae Pays Off Bailout Debt

Back in 2008, Fannie & Freddie were put under government conservator ship and had to be bailed out to the tune of $187 billion.  While many of us remember this, most of us don't know that as of February 21st, 2014 Fannie and Freddie are in the black and Fannie is scheduled to pay the treasury $7.2 billion next month in dividends.
