5 Great Apps to Boost Your Productivity!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with RealSupport Inc.

In today’s world of smart phones, clouds and technology at your fingertips, downloadable apps can be fantastic tools used to boost productivity and increase convenience in your daily life. With technology changing quickly and new apps being released every day, it is essential as a real estate professional to know what’s out there and how it can make your life easier. Our Real Estate Virtual Assistant team are big proponents of working both harder AND smarter, and understand that staying abreast of evolving technology can make a big difference in your day-to-day business in the long run. We understand how chaotic a real estate professional’s life can be and how quickly their schedules can be filled with appointments, listings, closings and other tasks essential to their business success. Here is just a short list of some of the latest and greatest productivity apps. We highly recommend checking them out and integrating them into your daily life for more convenience than ever before!

1. Fantastical: For the professional on the go, Fantastical is a wonderful app that allows users a quick overview of their appointments and calendar. Scheduled events and dated reminders are shown side-by-side on your calendar while a maps feature pinpoints each appointment’s location to give you a concise overview of where you’ll be and when. A quick glance of the app each day is a great way to get a handle on appointments, reminders and free time so that you can better coordinate your professional life with those around you!

2. Air Sharing: An exceptional app for those dividing their time in an office and on the go, Air Sharing allows for the quick and seamless transfer of files between devices (including laptops, smart phones, tablets, etc) on the same WiFi network. With easy drag-and-drop features, you can quickly transfer documents, contracts, photos and more to and from your in-office colleagues to view, edit or save them between yourselves. This is a much faster option from the old back-and-forth file transferring and is particularly convenient for a professional that pops in and out of the office quickly.

3. Pastebot Sync: This app acts as a clipboard manager for your devices, allowing the user to save a variety of photos, content, links, websites and other information so that it can be quickly accessed later. It also lets you copy these items between your smart phone, laptop and tablet, for the added convenience of having the same photos that you downloaded to your laptop easily available on your tablet, phone, etc. An easy way to organize notes, photos and more so that nothing is ever lost, Pastebot Sync offers both speed and accessibility.

4. TinyScan Pro: Ever need a scanner on the go? Download TinyScan Pro and your smart phone or tablet instantly becomes a one, easily able to quickly scan documents, contracts, listing agreements and more! Tools within the app allow you to edit the scan as you prefer to ensure that it is clear and easily read. A great tool for everything from remembering presentation points to cataloging receipts to having a virtual copy of necessary documents, this adds a fantastic level of convenience to an already busy life.

5. LogMeIn: A highly convenient app for those working across multiple computers, laptops and other devices, this is a simple program that lets the user access and control their home computer from any Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Macbook, etc). This can make life much easier for those that juggle several computers and have a difficult time keeping up with where documents are saved, making sharing much faster and easier. No matter what device you may be using or where your other computers are, nothing is out of reach with this app.

We all know that truly great apps that can help boost productivity while adding convenience are a dime a dozen! These are a fantastic place to start, if you’re seeking ease, seamlessness and accessibility. As a Real Estate Virtual Assistant team, we stay on top of technology and how it can work for you - So you don’t have to! Thanks Megan.

The TinyScanPro app looks very promising as I would love the ability to scan documents while on the go without having to rely upon returning back to the office in order to do so. Thanks to technology, I'm able to do just about any business tasks outside of the office---except for scanning documents. If this is successful, I can really save additional time, money and gas! Thanks Again for sharing.

TURBOSCAN is a great app. It turns your i-phone into a  MUTIPLE PAGES scanner- directly from your phone.   You can scan receipts, reports, business cards, etc- then you can turn them into a PDF and send directly to I cloud for storing purposes or better yet, printing!
