I am sure you could call it that. The 90 day warranty is just that. Same a  a one year you would sell a buyer. The Recallchek is a program that checks  manufacturers for any recall they may have then notifies the home owner that their appliance had been recalled.

This is a little more peace of mind when buying any home. The 90 warranty would let them know that at least for 90 days they have good coverage. This will not mess up any warranty issued by the seller or the agent.

I see your point. I don't list every little thing in a home. Mainly the appliances and Garage door opener. Like the Genie had just been recalled. But which ones. The recallchek would tell you if your unit has been recalled.

You would need a full time staff just to keep up with all the recalls.
