California’s Sun Lakes Country Club offers two exquisite golf courses available to residents. David Rainville designed the 18-hole Sun Lakes Championship Course in 1986 and the 9-hole Executive Course in 1995. The finely manicured holes meander through the Sun Lakes community and offer golfers breathtaking views of the towering San Bernardino and San Jacinto Mountains. Resident memberships are reasonably priced and provide unlimited golf for a year.
The par-72 championship course measures 7,006 yard from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 132 and a 71.6 USGA rating. This course offers challenging yet exciting play for all skill levels. This traditional design really puts your long shot and accuracy to practice. There are 11 bunkers and 7 lakes throughout this stunning course.
The 9-hole Executive Course offers 3,000 yards of play and has a slope rate of 88 and a 54.7 USGA rating. There are well-bunkered greens that are rolling and fast. This flat course only has a few trees along the fairways and lakes only come into play on six holes. This course is ideal for beginners and weekend novices.
