William S. Lund, son-in-law of Walt Disney, and a Director of the Disney Trust had a vision to create a master-planned community in Gilbert, Arizona that would be created out of a rich, rural culture to promote a carefree lifestyle for its residents. In 2003 Mr. Lund;s vision became a reality with the creation of the Spectrum at Val Vista. There are lots of homes for sale in Spectrum at Val Vista. Our family has lived in Spectrum since 2007 and we never want to leave! The neighborhood is very quiet and yet we are just minutes from the mall, shopping, fitness centers, theatres, and even the local hospital. The home we live in is very well built and we have never had any significant problems with it in over 7 years (which is a BIG change from our former home in the valley). We live right next to a park and within walking distance of the grade school (Spectrum Elementary). Our children are grown but if we had young children this would be the place to be.
This is a photo of the park behind our house. In fact, I think the house on the far right top of this photo is our house. This is the easter egg hunt last Easter for the kids. Doesn't look like much of a hunt but they did get a lot of eggs.
The development also just recently completed a new community center which has quickly become the hub of a whole host of fun family activities. This is a photo of a kids exercise class. The center is also available for rent if you ever need a larger room for a family party or gathering. Our son was married about a year ago and we used this for a wedding shower. The large room worked just great and we could walk over from our house.
Even though home prices are now recovering from the crash of 2008, there are still lots of great deals in Spectrum at Val Vista in Gilbert Arizona. Below are just a couple photos of houses that are now on the market in Spectrum. More information is available on the MLS.
These are just a couple of examples but you can see how beautiful these homes are. There are lots of homes for sale in Spectrum at Val Vista. Most of them have some kind of brick work on the front and when you drive through the neighborhoods you will notice that a lot of care has been taken to make sure that the layouts are attractive. No two homes next to each other look alike and there is a lot of variety. If you would like to take a closer look at any of these homes or others in the Spectrum development just give me a call or email and I would be happy to arrange for you to see these up close. As mentioned earlier these are just a few of the great deals at the Spectrum at Val Vista in Gilbert Arizona.
