It begs the question to ask, because obviously it means something - do you start your shoelaces over or under?
That's important? you ask. What could it possibly mean? you ask.
I was most embarrassed seeing my wife lace her new shoes the other day. She's such a girl.
Embarrassed I tell you!
She needed new shoes to walk on the treadmill.
None of her other 30 pairs of walking/running/exercise shoes would work. Oh no!
She needed new shoes!
She's such a girl.
Not only did she need new shoes, she needed two pairs, one in black and another in white.
She's such a girl.
Watching her lace them I was disappointed. She started under with the first course!
That's right, I said SHE STARTED UNDER with the first course. She's such a girl.
If you do that then the rest of the lacing has to be UNDER/OVER! Look at that!
Everyone knows the first course should START OVER! And from there the lacing should be OVER/UNDER!
Look at that! Do you understand how embarrassed I would be to be seen in public walking beside that? And she doesn't care! She's such a girl.
Here is a close up of what I mean. Her new shoes are on the left. My PF Flyers are on the right.
Most incorrect on the left. Most correct on the right.
Certainly this lesson could not be more clear. The lacing is UNDER/OVER on the left and OVER/UNDER on the right.
Now do you see my embarrassment? She's such a girl.
They even gave her a neat silver cover to put in the middle! This is to demonstrate the lacing when done right. She's such a girl.
Look at how small those shoes are! Half the size of my shoes. She's such a girl.
Does she care? Not a chance!
Look at her! Waving in mock salute! Impudent to the end. She's such a girl.
I'll never win this one. But you already know that, don't you?
You know why I will never win? Because she's such a girl.
But she does look kind of hot in that thermal image, don't you agree? That's because she's such a girl!
