Hello all, Aimee here blogging on behalf of Kline May Realty and our family of agents. It's the middle of the work-week, and some of us are getting real antsy to go outdoors. No matter your adventure of choice, we'll feature a variety of recreational topics on Wednesdays that may peak your interest and maybe even your adrenaline. Do you live in southeastern Rockingham County and are looking for a fun place to spend a weekend afternoon?
Consider a trip to Mountain View Park in Grottoes, VA. There's plenty to do there!
The amenities include:
-Access to the river with boat ramp
-1.4 mile walking trail
-Picnic shelters each with individual charcoal grills
My husband and I are new Grottoes residents, and we took a trip to the park to play a friendly game of HORSE. For those of you who don't know it's a shot-for-shot basketball game. I lost miserably, 3 times, in a row, but we still had a great time. We also took a walk on the grounds and checked out the river levels.
You see, variety is the name of the game at this park, which assures even the most active of kids (and adults) couldn't possibly get bored.
