7-9am: Take dogs out, exercise my right shoulder (torn rotator cuff), follow up emails and phone calls, check leads from 4 different sites, do a load of laundry, consume coffee, shower, dress self, return phone calls. Check listings on websites. Check MLS updates.
9-11am: Get Mom up, help her dress, set up her make up, prepare breakfast, get her quad cane, put her gait belt on, and stand by as she walks into the dining room. Eat breakfast, feed dogs, make sure Mom takes her medicine, let dogs out. Stand by as Mom walks to living room. Fill up her apple juice and water. Set her up on the pedal machine to strengthen her right leg affected by the stroke. Do the dishes. Let dogs in. Check emails and texts. Return phone calls. After 30 minutes pedaling, help Mom off pedals and onto sofa. Put her right arm brace on.
11-12noon: Run flyers out to listing. Pick up bananas from grocery store. Answer phone calls from potential buyers, title companies, co-op agents. Give Mom a yogurt and a cookie.
12-12:15pm: Meet with Mom's Physical Therapist.
12:15-1:30pm: Go to office. Work on contracts in progress. Call present clients. Emails and texts.
1:30pm: *Emergency phone call from Mom. LOL - It's not a real emergency - she can't remember how to work the new Google Fiber TV remote control. ^_^ Run home, put it on the channel 'Ellen' comes on, give Mom a cookie, then run back to office.
2-5pm: Fix problems with contract scheduled to close on Friday. Call title company, other agent, and client. Call other clients. Pick up and pay for my long sleeved t-shirts for parades this weekend. Eat lunch at desk while watching the recording of a webinar I missed. Order up a Home Warranty. Write and address snail mail; take to front desk to go out tomorrow. Return texts and emails. Go over advertising budget. Talk to potential clients, leads, and suspects calling from a variety of sources. Keep up with flurry of emails and texts. Scan, forward, download, upload, sign, read, and return various documents. Send some documents to Docusign and on to clients. Change verbiage on a listing. Send out email updates to appropriate agents and buyers.
5-7pm: Go home and give Mom a yogurt. Let dogs out and in; pet briefly. Tell them how good they are. Pick up staple gun and staples from home and Go to the caves to work on St. Patrick's Day float. Pick up ice on the way. Answer 3 phone calls while in parking lot.
7-10pm: Return phone calls. Visit with Mom; remove her arm brace. Pet dogs. Make dinner. Do ROM exercises with Mom. Eat dinner. Feed dogs. Go to grocery store, bank, and gas station. Buy lottery ticket. Give Mom her night time meds and check her blood pressure. Help Mom get ready for bed and tuck her in. Take dogs out. Return emails.
10-12pm: Wash dishes. Gather supplies we'll need for working on the float tomorrow. Check in on facebook friends; have few private message conversations; read a few articles friends shared. Try to write a blog post but have problems uploading photos so write this post instead.
Hmm, well, now that I see it written out, it does look like my days are full. Have you ever written down nearly every little thing you do all day?
