Downtown Willougbhy is a favorite place to move for many people who like the idea of walking to the neighborhood restaurants & bars, shops, salons or yoga studios.  

With the majority of the Home Sale Prices being below $200,000, Downtown Willoughby Ohio is an affordable place to live.  The biggest issue we face right now is the amount of inventory in the area.  

Currently there are only 7 houses for sale in the Downtown Willougbhy area with a listing price between $77,900 and $169,900. And in the past 6 months 7 houses have sold in the area ranging in sale price from $96,500 to $177,500.

The houses in the area are older homes, many being a century old or close to it or built in the 1940's, 50's and 60's.  These houses exude charm and character that draws the buyers to fall in love with the home.  The Downtown Willoughby area itself has a rich history dating back to 1798 when the town was settled and called 'Chagrin' because of the river.  The town name was later changed to Willoughby because of the medical college that had opened. As with many of these older towns, Downtown Willoughby has seen it's share of ups and downs and transformations and today it is a lively, hopping place to be.
