Sellers watching nightly news reports have been thinking twice about putting their home on the market but your wait is over because in our local market that’s not the case. Good Homes that are priced right are selling quickly, many are getting multiple offers. The average Sales Price of homes in Paulding County, GA. increased 28% in the past 12 months. Average days to contract has dropped to 57 days. Similar results are occurring in surrounding counties of Cobb and Douglas
It’s been equally frustrating for would-be buyers who want to take advantage of low mortgage rates. Competition is getting fierce and buyer demand is growing. Serious 1st time home buyers looking for homes they can grow into instead of starter homes they will quickly grow out of.
Move up buyers are coming to market in larger numbers than in previous years. More than 75% of non-first time buyers are looking for significantly bigger homes or homes that are the same size but nicer or are cross town.
