Change Even for the Better May Not Be Easy

“Any change, even a change for the better, is always

accomplished by withdraw and discomforts.”

Arnold Bennett 1867 - 1931, English Novelist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Change even for the better may not be easy

Change at any degree and bring out the anxiety and stress in a person.

People become apprehensive about change even when the change will have a positive effect on them.

Some of the change that comes into your life . . . . is out of your control. You may not be able to influence the change coming into your life and this may clause a great deal of stress.

If you can’t control the change, you can control your emotions . . . . and how you respond to the change. By controlling your emotions you will look at the change differently . . . . and be able to control how you respond to the change. This will reduce the stress that the change has brought into your life and give you a clearer picture on how to respond to the change.

Change even for the better may not be easy . . . . Becoming unraveled by change is not the answer. Keep your emotions under control . . . . and you will find the way to respond to change.

Lou, Change is going to happen anyway so it is better to embrace it but some resist as long as possible and get dragged into making a move.

how true -- it can feel comfortable to just stay in that groove -- even if it is a dead end.  for that reason, we have to find the self motivation to challenge ourselves to pursue new opportunities and challenges
