Thousands of tourist will flock to the tidal basin over the next month to catch a glimpse of the Cherry Blossoms. The National Park Service estimates the trees will bloom somewhere around April 8th. The spectacular site of the trees around the basin has long drawn photographers. The Library of Congress has some of the shots taken in 1941.
