Some of the best U.S. freestyle athletes will be hitting the slopes of Deer Valley for the upcoming U.S. Freestyle Championships that will take place March 28-30. Deer Valley was tapped to host this exciting event due to the lack of snow in California preventing the original venue Heavenly Valley to hold the event.

Of course, Deer Valley is not a newcomer to hosting this event, having held previous Championships in 2003 and 2011. The resort is also a yearly stop on the World Cup circuit, and is a favorite of many athletes. Many say that the resort is a favorite on the World Cup tour because of the crew and support systems provided by Deer Valley.

The U.S. Championships are happening on the heels of the Sochi Winter Olympics and are sure to be an exciting show. Athletes will be competing in the high flying aerials, as well as moguls and dual moguls. Spectators will be left breathless as they watch skiers fly, twist, and fly down the slopes.

You’ll be able to see athletes such as two-time Olympic medalist Hannah Kearney, who will lead the moguls team. Brothers Bryon and Brad Wilson will also be competing in these thrilling events. Mac Bohonnon and Ashley Caldwell will lead the aerial teams as they fly through the air, high above the slopes of Deer Valley.
