1500 fellow bloggers replied and below are their responses. My choice was hardwood flooring under carpet. Here in NW Montana, views, great neighborhoods and great schools are for the most part the norm, so had to choose something else! Mud rooms were a close 2nd in my mind for where I live, places to put outside clothes, shoes and boots in all seasons, is a desirable attribute.
