Nice local blog for a book drive.  Donating books is a great event!

Good morning, George....when I moved from my home to my present home, I had 30' of built in book shelves filled with books....99% were donated to the Franklin Public Library....and whenever I buy a book now, I read it and pass it along to someone else to enjoy....

This is a great idea, George. But I've found that some libraries won't take books. I donate mine to the Pawsibilities Thrift Shop locally... all proceeds go to support the animal shelter.

George what a great annual request to donate books to the Cromwell Belden Public Library, they're better served in a library than on a shelf with dust on them.

George ... Donating books to the library is a great idea. "Friends" of our local library run a Book Nook where they sell the donations to raise money to buy new ones.

George -- Very timely for me. Just yesterday I started to go through some books we no longer need to keep. Time to donate.  I'm  sure Cromwell Public Library will benefit from your bringing awareness to their request for donations.

I recently moved( downsized) and donated hundreds of books to the local library. I tried to sell  them first via garage sale, no one even approached that pile. Library will be  selling them as used books and hopefully someone will enjoy them again.
