Lightbulb Moments --- When Buyers Say Aaaah, Now I Understand
It was one of those marathon showing schedule days -- you know when there is a single day to introduce the buying process, get an overview of the community(or two) and see some properties.
When working with out-of-town buyers, you don’t always know how much information and “stuff” to plan for a given day(or half-day).
Will I overwhelm them? Scare them? Will they feel I didn’t share enough? And of course, in my market the fear of sticker stock -- my gosh, Abner -- we’re really not in Kansas anymore.
Well, I recently had one of those marathon moments -- one day to get an idea of what Pasadena offers in a difficult to "find and hopefully buy" price point. A couple of phone conversations combined with some emails exchanged is great but hardly like that first face-to-face meeting.
Well, on this particular occasion things were going along pretty well.
Then I heard it…
