ya don't get no Peeps.
My mad dash to the store at around 1 p.m. today - at the encouragement of BFFL, Theresa-
for a few Easter essentials - ham, a chocolate bunny, jelly beans and Peeps.
I am blogging this very quietly, as she is due downstairs any minute to begin our Easter festivities.
I got everything but Peeps.
This will be a disappointment for her. But she loves me, so I should be okay...
Everyone was out - the grocery store, Walgreen's-
even the BP station which always has something of everything.
I mean, not even those lousy purple bunny Peeps-no offense to Just Born Candy Company-
could be found anywhere.
What is Easter without Peeps?
I suspect out here, at more than a few open houses, some smiling Realtors
are enjoying the soft, sugary,spongy-sweet marshmallowy goodness of Peeps.
...and wondering if their tongues are yellow!
