By

According to the US Drought Monitor, the Sacramento area is in an Extreme Drought situation. Though we are finally seeing some rain, we are still in a water crisis. The infogram below shows where families use the most water and some low cost solutions for some of our usage.  Awareness will be critical as our whole state is being affected so please help by spreading the word.

DeeDee, I am conserving as much water as possible. I am doing laundry less frequently and conserving on flushing my toilet. We've had some good rainfall these past few days ... but it is not enough to change the drought situation in our State.

The water saving solutions are low cost with big return.

DeeDee, great infogram showing how homeowners can save on water usage!   Denver will be experiencing a drought as well, and can use this info.

Most people do not realize this what great information you are sharing with all of us. Endr

Thanks all for you comments!   It is a very serious situation (though I do appreciate your humor, Endre!) and I don't think most of us really understand the severity!
