Setting Goals is the First in Achieving Them

“The major reason for setting goals is for what it makes of

you to accomplish it. What it makes of you will always

be the far greater value than what you get.”

Jim Rohn 1930 - 2009, American Entrepreneur, Author,

Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Setting goals is the first step in achieving them

Achieving your goals . . . . takes a determined and persistent effort for you to reach your objectives. Your goals will not be handed to you . . . . to achieve your goals you have to invest your time . . . . your efforts . . . . your resources . . . . be persistent . . . . and remain focused on achieving your goals.

The success journey to achieve your goals will take you on the journey of your life time.  There will be twists and turns and you will encounter good days that move you closer to your goals. You will also encounter bad days that can take you off course and slow your forward progress.

The pursuit of your goals will make you who you become. It’s your journey of determination that continues to move you in the right direction and closer to your goals.

In setting your goals . . . . you become a different person. One that focuses you on their objectives and one that you’re determined to achieve your objectives.

Lou -  It always begins with a dream then a goal.  It is a journey and not a destination.

Lou, most people will never accomplish their goals because they do not first identify them and subsequently write them down.

I've heard that a goal is just a wish unless you write it down; I think there's truth to that.
