#26 What would you do?

You are the last of 3 agents to be interviewed for a listing. The seller tells you who the other agents were and asks you about them.

What would you do?

1. Say you know them and cannot comment

2. Say you cannot comment

3. Say you know them and have worked with them

4. Say your know them and explain how one's office is 30 mikes away and the other is nice but not a go getter

5. Say you know them and all agents have strengths and talents and try to the best for their clients

If you know them, say you know them.  Then move on and conduct your appointment.  Don't be baited or trapped into saying something that will come back to you later. 

Now...if I can just reread what I wrote before every time I open my mouth at a new clients, I will be better off for it!!

Boy Lori, that is a tough one but I would say I know of them and leave it at that.

Very hard question but I would only say I know them and not going into talking about them. We are all different individual in all aspect of life.

If you know them let it be known! Then go on to shine and do your best to get the listing! Always be positive and sell yourself and never say anything negative about another agent.

This has come up a few times in during my listing appointments.  I acknowledge that I know the others, and smile pleasantly. Never say anything negative about another agent.

Always smile when talking about other brokers/agents, and acknowledge that you may know some of them.  Keep it positive about yourself, never tear down anyone to build yourself up!!  The seller may be interested in your integrity!
