April 2014 Austin Texas Events ~Here is What is Going on!

It’s April and what a great line up of fun things to do in Austin!! Don’t forget this weekend on Sunday April 6th is the Capital 10K run! On April 19th you won’t want to miss the 15th Annual Pet Parade and for the kids "Sesame Street Live" is playing at the Erwin Center April 3-6th. Molly Ringwald will be at the Zach Theater and if you are a Jennifer Nettles fan she is at ACL Live on April 10th…so many options and something offered for the whole family!

Check out the fun things on tap in Austin for April….you won’t be disappointed. Don’t forget the Annual Garden Party at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden (always spectacular) and the Monster Jam at the Frank Erwin Center!

Dorie, seeing the Pet Parade on your list brings back childhood memories. A Chicago suburb sponsored an enormous Pet Parade every year. Besides the pets, there were entertainers, bands and the other usual parade participants. What fun pet parades are!
