The Green Valley communities of Henderson include three groups, Green Valley, Green Valley South and Green Valley Ranch. Just as Summerlin stamped it's name in the west part of the Las Vegas Valley, Green Valley took control of the southeast part of the valley.
In the month of March - 2014, 61 homes closed in the Green Valley subdivisions through the local MLS system, most of which were in the original "Green Valley" territory. Green Valley Ranch and Green Valley South accounted for only 16 of the 61 closed sales in March. The homes are newer and the prices higher in the south and ranch and these communities are typically located closer to the Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino and the District.
