Planting trees adds curb appeal and helps mother nature.

It’s no secret that our environment isn’t in the greatest shape. Think of all the harmful gases we spill into our environment every day just by driving to and from work. Since the weather is getting warm, let’s use this opportunity to work with Mother Nature and rebuild a healthy relationship with our surroundings.

Start by giving back:

  • Plant a tree- Whether it’s in a local park, your own yard, or in the yard of a house you’re trying to sell, plant a tree. Trees will increase the value of properties you are trying to sell; granted most people are looking for mature trees, but you have to start somewhere. Find out the basics of planting trees and bushes.
  • Plant a bush- Lilac, butterfly, and peony bushes are all beautiful additions to any property. After several years, they will have grown enough to create a much-loved oasis. Find out what plants grow in your zone.
  • Install water-saving devices in your home and homes you are selling. You can buy water-saving shower heads online, or at a local home store.

These are just a couple small ways you can give back to your environment this spring; let us know how you are nurturing your relationship with Mother Nature in the comments section below.

While all of these tasks may be helpful, in reality, the more we SAVE, the more it COSTS....water consumption is DOWN in most areas; however, the water RATES continue to rise because the bureauracy involved still needs the same amount of funding for their expenses and overhead.....
