Hi Tammy, a recommendation for the Dental Care Center by someone like you is priceless! There are so many people who have had bad experiences and just don't go anywhere- ever! but we only get one set of (adult) teeth, so we have to take care of them- might as well find a great place to do that!

Hi Tammy, Don't feel alone. I also hated to go t the dentist and kept putting it off until I had a toothache and there was nothing he coud do to me that could feel worse, so I went. I ended up with a root canal that was way easier that the horror stories that were stored away in my memory from other tramatic patients. Now, going to the dentist is a piece of cake. I still don't like the cardboard they put in your mouth to take X-rays. You know. The ones that gouge into your gums while they say "Hold Still for an hour and a half", while I take an X-Ray. OK, Now let's do the other side!
As many others here have said, you are not alone in disliking going to the dentist. When I was young I would shake in my shoes as my Mom had me wait by her in the waiting room for them to call my name. Thankfully, I've been able to get over this problem. Going to the dentist is no longer something I dread, and I have been able to prevent a lot of problems from happening or getting worse by being on top of my yearly dental visits. http://www.owocdentalgroup.com
