Red Feather Real Estate- better than Sweepstakes

Here’s the map that publishers clearing house is going to use to get to my house.

It looks like they might need a Sherpa.  Where are the roads anyway?!  Now, I’m not picking on PCH, I have no problem with the clearing house folks, except for the fact that they haven’t shown up at my door with roses and that big fat check YET- but I worry….

 WHEN THEY COME are they really going to use THAT map?

I’ve mentioned this before in my blog; some folks have great success navigating the roads around the Red Feather Lakes area with their GPS, but many others walk in the office with their smart phones in hand and they are so lost.

Several come in looking for Shambhala Mountain Center.  County sign regulations are partly to blame, because the direction signs are so small that if you’re not watching you WILL miss the turn, but I suspect that some folks get lost because they don’t have a forest service map and rely strictly on GPS.

Not only do Ponderosa Realty agents know our way around, but we have maps in our office; so when the electronics fail, we will help you find your global position and get you headed back in the right direction…..(and yes, I understand the directional signs are small in order to maintain the natural beauty of the area- but I thought you should know.)

Luckily, a few day after they sent that crazy map, the PCH folks emailed me their “driving directions to my house” and they got it right!  Now, I’m not worried about their trek from Sheep Mountain, they’re sure to find me!  I probably should start practicing jumping up and down screaming for joy….but

Until then, it’s back to real estate!
