Against the brilliant, azure sea of sky,
Bouquets of fresh bloomed pink and white.
Festive gala garb in profusion spread across the land,,
Carefully set in place by the Designer’s hand.
(R Weisser 2014)
As you might have guessed, I am easily distracted by ordinary things.
Spring in 2014 is very much the same as Spring in the 1950’s. That is, if you take away the mobile phones, the Internet, microwave ovens, and hundreds of television channels.
If one take away all of the technology available today and walk into a park or a forest, one can easily escape the bonds of time and experience life in a more primeval state of awareness.
Unfortunately, one of the side effects of the latest technological revolution is that parks are now facing low budgeting priorities. And once a park is lost, it is gone forever.
It’s not just a lifestyle choice,
It’s a life choice!
