Do You Warn Your Sellers?

By

I saw a very interesting article where the question was asked "Do you warn your sellers to put their perscription medicine away before a showing or open house?".  I had never really thought about that!  What other advice or warnings do you give to your sellers?

Jayne: The #1 thing I tell all my sellers is not be present when the buyer comes through the home. It is awkward and the seller will typically say too much or turn the buyers off.

So true Anita!  I know when I was looking at homes I didn't like them there.  You also don't feel free to express how you really dislike something.  Thank you for sharing.

I advise Sellers not to let any door-knocker Buyers or Agents into the house, unless they are Real Estate Agents who can access the Supra eKey lockbox.  All others, point to my yard sign or hand them one of my business cards; tell them to call me.

I also tell them to put away jewelry and silver - anything that easily fits into a pocket!
