My oldest designed this egg protector for his science class last week. The plan was to protect an egg that was dropped from the ceiling on to the black top below.
Would bubble wrap work for him? Packing peanuts?
No!! It had to be straws.
I remember my boys doing the same project Christine, I loved those projects. :)
I would have a few paper towles handy just in case.
I like these projects, it makes the kids think!
I don't remember my kids doing "protect the egg" projects. However, I vividly remember the volcano project, that required a thorough cleaning of the kitchen ceiling.
Golly, gee-whiz~ Do I remember the nightmare? Having 9 children, yes I do. Never came across this project though.
