I decided to take another stab at heading up a meet up even though there was a scheduled meetup already in my area. The other meetup ultimately cancelled for lack of interest but I was determined to have a successful meetup no matter what.
My meetup was a lunchtime event at Millers Ale House in Lombard and my good friend Karen Winters from North Clyborn Group, Inc and I were the only two Rainers in attendance
Though not many Illinois Rainers took part in the 2014 Spring MeetUps, these two Rainers did and had a very good time. We talked about everything from our new offices and cellphones to our upcoming lobby day at the state capitol. The highlight of the day was winning Miller’s lunchtime raffle and having my lunch paid for, now that is what I call a successful meetup. It’s a good life.
