Mark your calendars because Sun Lakes County Club is participating in a charity week on June 16 through the 22nd. The community has participated in this event for over 20 years and has raised more than one million dollars for people in the San Gorgonio Pass area with food, clothing, medication, housing and other necessities.
All week long there will be events for residents to participate in to help raise money. Starting on Monday June 16th there is a pitch and putt tournament and tennis tournament. Tuesday there is a pancake breakfast and helicopter ball drop. On Wednesday there is a luncheon and fashion show. Thursday the 19th there will be monster scramble and luncheon as well as a bocce ball event. Friday there is a dinner, dance and activities night. Saturday there is a Pro Am gold shootout and luncheon. Rounding out the week there will be a Pro AM charity golf tournament and luncheon with an auction and raffle.
