MBD seemed like nice folks, but I highly discourage purchasing from them. Bad customer service. We purchased our house in 2014 and we still do not have the things fixed we asked for before moving in. If you do purchase one of these, be sure EVERYTHING and I MEAN EVERYTHING is fixed before signing. They will promise things.. without any follow through. They even think they have bad customer service:

Lauren, You are correct. This is not acceptable and not as we would prefer things to go.

Gary has always put himself in the middle of a callback visit with the subcontractor when the homeowner needs assistance. Getting follow up this spring since the rain stopped, lots have dried out and summer building maxed out being able to be present for call backs has been almost impossible for him. That is not our preference, but we have found ourselves quite slammed. After our last correspondence, Gary had reached out to all the contractors needed to complete your list of items and my anticipation was that things had been handled. Obviously, that has not occurred.

That is ridiculous they acknowledged the issues and will not fix what MBD has agreed to take responsibility. I would recommend a lawyer that would have them pay for another company to perform the fixes and something extra for your troubles and attorney fees.
