Bonney Lake was Incorporated on February 28, 1949 with a whopping population of 327 people. We are talking the middle of nowhere. Just dirt roads - no power or water supplies. Just a lot of trees.
Well things have changed here in little Bonney Lake. There are now 18,000 people, over 6,000 house holds and more than 500 businesses. Bonney Lake has done an amazing job of controlling the growth. There are very defined business locations and defined residential areas.
With parks, trails and lots of open space there is always something new to do. The City owns Allen York park that has a boat launch and beach area on Lake Tapps. This gives great access to all of Bonney Lake residents. It also includes a baseball field and play ground for year round use.
